How to export a 3D population density map using QGIS and Aerialod
- Start by visiting https://hub.worldpop.org/geodata/listing?id=76↗ and download the target country’s TIFF file.
Let's use Taiwan as an example.
Import one of the downloaded TIFF files into QGIS.
Export from QGIS:
:::warning Set the Output mode to “Rendered Image.” :::
After exporting, move the resulting file into Aerialod.
Configure the settings in Aerialod as needed.
Achieve the desired results.
